I can look at thousands of properties online, observe their beautiful stills, images, videos etc. That is all wonderful but nothing, nothing beats visiting a property and experiencing it.
No virtual tour can capture the mood, light, subtle nuances, and thousands of other touchpoints that a physical tour achieves. I was recently reminded of this once again as I toured a property that truly defies description that is being marketed by Compass. Seeing the property illuminated at night conjured up images of being on a movie set unlike any other and of course brilliant marketers know how to squeeze extra emotion out of this moment.
I had seen the beautiful images of the property online and was impressed. Visiting the property was a completely different experience which I will never forget.
Most 'first visits' happen online. When people actually tour a property it's akin to a second showing. Sellers shouldn't ever underestimate the power of that opportunity, that is the experience!
